Kudos to Schuette

Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette this week announced that negotiations between his office, the Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation (OFIR), and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) will result in $60 million in savings in the first year by slashing rate increases by up to 60 percent for approximately 200,000 Michigan residents who buy their own health insurance.
