Consumer Reports letter to Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao calling on her to mandate health protections in airports and onboard aircraft and to ensure that airlines provide refunds to passengers whose travel was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. CR’s letter was accompanied by a petition signed by more than 62,000 Americans in support of mandatory, enforceable health and safety rules to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
