CR Comments to the CPSC on proposed changes to section 6(b) of the Consumer Product Safety Act

Consumer Reports submitted comments to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regarding the agency’s supplemental notice of proposed rulemaking to update its regulations interpreting section 6(b) of the Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSA). Consumer Reports supports the CPSC’s renewed work to update the current regulations to increase transparency for the public and align its rules more closely with the text of section 6(b) of the CPSA.
