SUMMARY: Consumers Union, the policy arm of nonprofit Consumer Reports, writes to members of the U.S. Senate to express opposition to the repeal of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) without an adequate and simultaneous replacement that, at minimum, maintains coverage for the number of people currently covered, provides comparable consumer protections, and protects the current reach and availability of Medicaid.
