Facebook is taking a new tack on social network security in a deal with antimalware vendor McAfee. After a problem is detected, the system will scan infected users’ PCs remotely using McAfee technology. McAfee insists the scan won’t conflict with the security software users might have already installed on their computers, but others aren’t so sure.
