Daniela Nuñez is Social Media Program Manager for Consumer Reports. She focuses on recruitment, engagement, and coordination of activists on social media channels.
Daniela joined the organization in 2007 and has spent many years advocating for safe and affordable health care. She helped build a Safe Patient Project activist network that works on policy and education to protect patients from medical harm. She coordinated the highly successful “Low-Down Dozen” social media campaign that used CR’s hospital infection ratings to hold hospitals accountable for infecting patients. More recently, she was the campaign organizer for the End Surprise Medical Bills campaign, which passed laws in FL, CA, and NY that protect consumers from surprise out-of-network medical bills.
