Statement on The Digital Media Consumers’ Rights Act Of 2003

H.R. 107, the Digital Media Consumer Right Act (DMCRA), can play a central rule in this refinement of the DMCA by ensuring that fair use principles apply to Section 1201 of the Copyright Act. Moreover, the bill would ensure that consumers will have the information they need when deciding whether to purchase copy protected compact discs.
