Public interest groups’ petition to deny Charter-Time Warner Cable merger

Consumers Union, the advocacy arm of Consumer Reports, joined Public Knowledge, Common Cause, and Open MIC in filing a petition with the Federal Communications Commission asking the agency to deny the proposed merger of Charter, Time Warner Cable, and Bright House Networks as proposed unless a broad set of concerns are thoroughly addressed.  Public Knowledge formally submitted the petition to the FCC on October 13, 2015.
