Letter to Congress Re: the Video Programming Choice and Decency Act of 2004

By allowing cable and satellite companies to voluntarily offer “a la carte” channel selection to their viewers, this legislation could help lower consumers’ cable and satellite bills, as well as provide citizens with a meaningful tool to avoid underwriting the cost of programming they find objectionable.
