CU Letter to Senate Commerce Committee on FCC Oversight Hearing

Consumers Union, the policy and mobilization arm of Consumer Reports, letter to the Senate Commerce Committee encouraging members to consider topics, including broadband privacy rules, net neutrality rules, robocalls, high cable prices and fees, and set-top box competition, for discussion in advance of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) oversight hearing scheduled for March 8, 2017. This hearing provides a unique opportunity to learn what newly-appointed Chairman Ajit Pai’s agenda is for the Commission, and whether his views on policy matters are aligned with the best interests of consumers.
