CR’s policy recommendations to the Department of Transportation on aviation consumer protections

Consumers Reports outlines its recommendations to the new leadership at the Department of Transportation for protecting aviation consumers.  CR’s recommendations include early actions it is calling on the DOT to take to address concerns about COVID-19 health risks, refunds for flights cancelled during the pandemic, and a new rule adopted last November by the previous administration that will hamper the agency’s ability to curb abusive airline practices.
