Consumer Reports (CR) sent a letter to Connecticut’s Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP), which has started rulemaking proceedings for the adoption of the Advanced Clean Cars II (ACC II) regulation.
The ACC II rules will provide clean, cost-saving transportation choices for Connecticut consumers. CR wrote Commissioner Katie Dykes, who leads DEEP, in strong support of the state’s adoption of these rules before the end of 2023.
Connecticut is home to CR’s Auto Test Center, where we test about 50 vehicles annually, including clean fuel vehicles, on functions such as reliability, fuel economy, safety and usability.
