Consumer Reports filed formal comments with the Environmental Protection Agency in response to the agency’s proposed rule “Multi-Pollutant Emissions Standards for Model Years 2027 and Later Light-Duty and Medium-Duty Vehicles.”
CR said the EPA’s proposal would help lower the cost of transportation for American families, reduce emissions, and protect the climate and public health. The nonprofit consumer organization said the proposed standards are achievable, cost effective, and aligned with market trends and consumer demand for cleaner, more affordable vehicles.
