Letter signed by Consumer Reports and other consumer groups and community organizations to the Federal Insurance Office in support of updating its 2017 report on the affordability of auto insurance. The 2017 report found that auto insurance was unaffordable for many drivers living in low and moderate income neighborhoods and underserved communities. The report was supposed to be updated annually but that has not been done.
