Comments on Auto Insurance Rates to NAIC 2015 Fall National Meeting

Consumers Union’s comments on the impact of frequently used auto insurance rating factors which can raise rates, including credit information (insurance scores) and price optimization. Comments are based on a two-year insurance pricing project in which Consumer Reports studied more than 2 billion price quotes across every U.S. ZIP code to understand the factors that raise rates.
