When you take the leap and (gasp!) remove someone as a “friend” on Facebook, what do you call it? This week, the New Oxford American Dictionary — OAD for short — announced that the 2009 Word of the Year is “unfriend,” as in “to remove someone as a ‘friend’ on a social networking site.”
