Amira Dhalla
Associate Director of Mobilizations Community Engagement and Operations

Amira Dhalla is the Associate Director of Mobilizations Community Engagement and Operations. In her role, Amira connects Consumer Reports to every day consumers and provides them with the knowledge, skills, and network they need to take action in their communities.

Amira brings over a decade of technology, consumer rights, and digital advocacy experience to Consumer Reports. Previously, she spent six years working at Mozilla Foundation as the Lead of Education, Gender, and Global Programs where she focused on creating an accessible, safe, open and innovative web for people around the world. While at Mozilla she developed digital education programs in over 100 countries, ran privacy and security advocacy-focused campaigns, launched the organizations first ever gender division and collaborated on programs with global institutions.

Amira holds a Master degree in Public Administration from Columbia University where she focused on Technology and Human Rights. In her hometown of Toronto, Canada she completed a Bachelor degree in Honors Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
