Adam Winer facilitates CR’s communications efforts in advancing consumer-friendly energy and transportation policies at the federal and state levels across the country.
Before joining Consumer Reports in 2018, Adam was a local television news reporter in Florida, helping viewers make sense of transportation and energy challenges in their community. He also reported on several high-profile news events, including the 2016 Presidential campaigns in Florida, the court case between Hulk Hogan and Gawker Media, the ‘Red Tide’ algae bloom in the Gulf of Mexico, and severe Hurricanes Irma and Matthew.
Adam was previously a news reporter in Kentucky and Western Maryland. He’s a graduate of the University of Maryland.
